About The Position
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for our 5D TCU Cardiothoracic Telemetry Step Down Unit located within the Edgewood Hospital. This role is on a 36-bed unit and involves providing direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN. The position offers a supportive environment with a strong emphasis on career advancement and a commitment to patient care.
Requirements
- Certified in the state where work is being performed as Certified Nurse Assistant
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Completion of applicable state courses.
- Successful completion of Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
- Not listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry
- Must have CPR for the professional rescuer
- Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.
- Successful work employment history.
Responsibilities
- Assists patients with activities of daily living
- Provides patients personal care and comfort
- Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients
