About The Position
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for our 5D TCU Cardiothoracic Telemetry Step Down Unit located within the Edgewood Hospital. This is a full-time position with 36 hours per week, working the 7 PM to 7 AM shift. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN. The role involves assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing personal care and comfort, and assisting in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients. Requirements
- Certified in the state where work is being performed as Certified Nurse Assistant
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Completion of applicable state courses.
- Successful completion of Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
- Not listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry
- Must have CPR for the professional rescuer
- Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.
- Successful work employment history.
