About The Position

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for our 5D TCU Cardiothoracic Telemetry Step Down Unit located within the Edgewood Hospital. This is a PRN position with scheduled hours of 0 hours/week, working the 7P-7A shift, including every other Saturday and Sunday. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN. They assist patients with activities of daily living, provide personal care and comfort, and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients. Requirements

Certified in the state where work is being performed as Certified Nurse Assistant
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Completion of applicable state courses.
Successful completion of Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
Not listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry
Must have CPR for the professional rescuer
Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.
Successful work employment history.
