About The Position
Join Lifespace’s Clinical team at GreenFields of Geneva as a Certified Nurse Aide. The role provides direct care to residents, supports their daily living activities, follows care plans, and helps maintain residents’ safety and well-being. The aide works with nursing team members to document vital signs and activities of daily living, follows infection-control standards, and responds to residents’ needs. Requirements
- At least one year of experience working with the geriatric population.
- Certified nursing aide licensure as required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow care plan directives and provide direct patient care.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, moving, and transportation to dining rooms and events or activities.
- Observe residents and report changes or unusual findings to the nurse.
- Coordinate with nursing team members to record accurate vital signs and maintain records of activities of daily living.
- Follow standard precautions and infection-control standards and help provide a clean, safe environment.
- Promptly answer call lights and regularly assess residents’ needs to verify that those needs are met.
