About The Position

We are hiring dedicated, compassionate Certified Nurse Aids (CNA) to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters. This is a casual/per diem position, picking up various shifts (days, afternoons, nights) at our Buffalo convent home located on Doat Street/ Pine Ridge (near Cheektowaga). Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located.
• Willingness to work day, afternoon, overnight as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered, direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.
• Document care for residents as required.
• Communicate with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care.
• Assist and collaborate with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.
• Contribute to providing a warm and caring convent environment.
• Engage in quality interpersonal experiences with sisters and engage in meaningful interactions during the course of every day.
• Maintain partnerships among all departments.
