Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), Nurse Aide, per diem - 2nd and 3rd shifts
About The Position
We are hiring dedicated, compassionate Nurse Aides, CNAs, and Caregivers to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters in a convent home facility in Lodi, NJ. These are casual/per diem positions available on evening (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm) and night shifts (10:00pm - 6:30am). The role involves providing direct care to residents, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care. Documentation of care and communication with residents, family, management, and staff are key responsibilities. Employees work together to support the religious life of the sisters by contributing to a warm and caring convent environment, fostering quality interpersonal experiences and meaningful interactions.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification is a PLUS but not required.
- Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.
- Documents care for residents as required.
- Communicates with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure quality care.
- Assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.
- Supports the religious life of sisters by contributing to providing a warm and caring convent environment.
- Engages in quality interpersonal experiences with sisters and meaningful interactions during the course of every day.
- Maintains partnerships among all departments to achieve sister satisfaction and a thriving living and working environment.
