About The Position

Focused Post Acute Care Partners (FPACP) is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join their team at Allenbrook in Baytown, TX. FPACP emphasizes excellence in long-term care and has a recognition program called ROCKStar (Recognizing Outstanding Care and Kindness). This program offers a gamified experience for team members to level up and potentially attend an annual gala. The CNA will be responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living to promote their independence and dignity.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas
Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of Texas and Misconduct Registry
Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote resident independence and dignity.
Ensure resident safety.
Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, and perform nail care for assigned residents.
Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse.
Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
Answer call lights in a timely manner.
Assist or feed residents.
Keep residents clean and dry, including toileting or providing incontinent care.
Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
Utilize electronic medical records charting (Point Click Care).
Other duties as assigned.
