About The Position

Focused Post Acute Care Partners (FPACP) is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join their team in Lamesa, TX. The CNA will be responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living to promote resident independence and dignity. FPACP emphasizes a culture of excellence and has a recognition program called ROCKStar (Recognizing Outstanding Care and Kindness). This program uses gamification for team members to level up monthly and potentially attend an annual FPACP Gala. The role also involves utilizing electronic medical records charting through point-of-care systems.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas
Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of Texas and Misconduct Registry
Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote resident independence and dignity.
Ensure resident safety.
Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, and perform nail care for assigned residents.
Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse.
Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
Answer call lights in a timely manner.
Assist or feed residents.
Keep residents clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care.
Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
Other duties as assigned.
