About The Position

Iris Memory Care of Edmond is looking for Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) and Certified Medication Aides (CMA) to join our evening team. This role provides hands-on, compassionate care that helps residents live with dignity, comfort, and joy every single day. The community is a small, freestanding memory care assisted living community with 40 residents across two intimate buildings, all living with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia. As an age-in-place community, you'll care for residents across the full spectrum of the disease.

Requirements

• Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry (required)
• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable work history — consistency matters deeply to our residents
• Ability to meet continuing education and certification requirements for your position

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of experience working with older adults preferred
• Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred
• Genuine warmth, patience, and compassion for those living with memory loss

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, dining, and mobility
• Support residents with life enrichment activities and social-recreational programming
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable, home-like environment
• Monitor and document vital signs and monthly weights
• Offer emotional and physical comfort and support to residents and families
• Uphold each resident's dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all times
• Assist with individual and group activities that enrich residents' daily lives
