About The Position

North Florida Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing recovery from severe injuries or illnesses. The hospital is a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation facility dedicated to patient recovery. They foster a team-like environment focused on exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• CPR/BCLS certification (may be obtained upon hire)

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in an acute or long-term facility preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment.
• Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom.
• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.
• Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of patient belongings.
• Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
