About The Position

Sprenger Health Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join its healthcare team at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake, Ohio. The CNA provides essential care and support to patients, promotes their well-being and comfort, assists with daily activities, monitors vital signs, and helps maintain a clean and safe environment. The role offers a competitive wage based on experience, with pay advertised up to $27 per hour and a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Sprenger Health Care operates senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina, including nursing homes, assisted living, and independent living communities.

Requirements

Valid certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Compassionate and empathetic nature.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
Support patient mobility and ensure safety during transfers.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
Follow established care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
Maintain a clean and organized patient environment and perform regular infection-control measures.
Document patient observations, activities, and changes in condition.
Communicate with patients and their families, explain care instructions, and answer questions.
Follow relevant health and safety regulations and protocols.
