About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our 3rd shift team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, resident-centered care in accordance with each resident’s care plan, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety throughout your shift.

Requirements

• Active CNA certification in good standing
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
• Ability to safely lift, move, and assist residents as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services based on resident care plans
• Accurately document care provided, observations, and resident status in charts and flow sheets
• Report any changes in resident condition promptly to the Charge Nurse or Nurse Supervisor
• Receive and participate in shift report to ensure continuity of care
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols, including proper handling of blood/body fluids
• Assist with personal hygiene, including oral care, bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Support residents with mobility, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation
• Provide assistance with hair and nail care (excluding diabetic nail care)
• Make and maintain clean, wrinkle-free beds and change linens as needed
• Provide comfort measures
• Assist residents in preparing for appointments, therapies, and diagnostic tests
• Support participation in activities, social programs, and visits
• Welcome new residents and help them feel comfortable and oriented to their environment
