About The Position

The Williamsport Home is seeking CNA's who have a true passion for their residents. We have 1st and 2nd shift positions available as well as PRN and every other weekend. Shifts run 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm- 6am, full-time and part-time positions available What we offer: Sign On Bonus Tuition Assistance Health/Vision/Dental insurances 403b matching Position Summary: The primary function of this position is to assist the Charge Nurse in the provision of nursing care and related services for all residents under their assigned area and in compliance with all federal, state and local guidelines, standards and regulations which govern the facility, and, as directed by the Nursing Supervisor and/or Director of Nursing Services so as to ensure each resident's medical, psychosocial and spiritual needs and wishes are met effectively and efficiently on a continuum.

Requirements

High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Certification as a Nursing Assistant, or, meets the state and federal requirements under "grandmothering" regulations, or, attends an approved nurse aide training program to obtain eligibility for the Nurse Aide Competency Examination within 120 days of employment.
Ability to read writes and speaks English.
Ability to follow oral and written direction.
CPR certified or willing to become CPR certified
