About The Position

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for a PRN (as needed) role to support full-time and part-time staff. As part of Lifepoint Health, the hospital is committed to employee well-being to enable exceptional patient care. The CNA will perform basic patient care activities under the supervision of an RN or LPN, following applicable scope and standards of practice. The role reports to the Director or Manager of the Department. Patient populations served include Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, and Older Adult. Employees may access demographic, clinical, insurance, and financial information, as well as the complete medical record. Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present. The role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. There is regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of practice
• BLS required
• High School diploma preferred
