About The Position
FULL TIME Certified Nurse Aide Needed for Home Care in Woodlands/Kingwood/N Houston and surrounding areas Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Tomball, Magnolia, Cypress, Pinehurst, Kingwood, Humble, Porter, Livingston, Huntsville, and surrounding areas GUARANTEED FULL-TIME HOURS (36-40 hrs/week)! MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY AND BE WILLING TO COVER THE LOCATIONS ABOVE AND ANY OTHER WITHIN OUR TERRITORY. OFFERING HIGHLY COMPETETIVE RATES WITH MILEAGE PAID FOR THE LONGER DISTANCE LOCATIONS. Requirements
- Current Texas CNA certification in good standing with at least 1 yr experience as a CNA preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within the last year
- Must be dependable, compassionate, and professional
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in client condition
- Take and record vital signs when required
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with medication reminders
- Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed
- Follow individualized care plans and agency policies
