Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), Nurse Aide, per diem - scheduled 1st shift (Sundays)
About The Position
We are hiring dedicated, compassionate CNAs to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters in a convent home environment in Chicago (West Peterson Ave, 60659, near neighborhoods of Lincolnwood and North Park). This is a casual/per diem scheduled position that operates on a biweekly schedule (Sunday–Saturday) pay period working every Sunday (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). Additional shifts are available when needed. The hourly pay rate for this position is $16.29 - $24.17 for Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs). Wage will be determined based on factors such as CNA certification, the candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located is a PLUS but not required.
- Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.
- Document care for sisters as required.
- Communicate with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care.
- Assist and collaborate with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.
- Strive to support the religious life of sisters by contributing to providing a warm and caring convent environment.
- Engage in quality interpersonal experiences with sisters and engage in meaningful interactions during the course of every day.
- Maintain partnerships among all departments to achieve sister satisfaction and a thriving living and working environment.
