The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will support patients and community members by performing basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN. This role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The CNA will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, record intake and output, and maintain a clean and orderly patient environment. The position also involves participation in performance improvement and continuing education, providing quality patient care, and maintaining reliable attendance. The role serves a wide range of patient populations from neonate to older adult and involves access to protected health information including demographic, clinical, insurance, and financial records.
