About The Position

We are Ohana Pacific Health, Hawaii's largest, locally owned post-acute healthcare company. Our vision is to transform how healthcare is provided throughout Hawaii. We are looking for passionate Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) to help us provide nursing care and services for residents, including personal and restorative care and activities of daily living. Ohana Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) orient residents to the unit and facility, including bathroom, call system, shower schedule, and lanai/common areas. They introduce residents at table, inform them of meal schedules and snack times, and inform them of the activity calendar and where activities are held. Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, and alarms immediately, as well as family requests immediately. They inform the Charge Nurse when required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum age of 18.
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii or currently enrolled in a State Approved Nurse Aide Program.
Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance (can be done in-house).

Responsibilities

Orient residents to the unit and facility: Bathroom, call system, shower schedule, and lanai/common areas.
Introduce residents at table.
Inform residents of meal schedule and snack times.
Inform residents of activity calendar and where activities are held.
Respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, alarms immediately.
Respond to family requests immediately.
Inform Charge Nurse when required.
