Make Every Visit Matter — Temporary Hospice CNA Opportunity Are you a compassionate CNA who takes pride in making a difference in the lives of others? We’re looking for a caring and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to provide comfort, dignity, and compassionate support to hospice patients in the comfort of their homes. If you have a heart for helping others and want to make a meaningful impact on patients and their families, this is a wonderful opportunity to put your skills and compassion to work. This temporary assignment is immediate and runs through the end of November and offers the chance to make a lasting difference, one visit at a time.
Requirements
- Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Colorado
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a CNA
- Current CPR/BLS certification (demonstration course required)
- Reliable Transportation to travel visit-to-visit
- Proof of flu vaccination, during Flu season in the months of October-March
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Hospice experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of hospice patients doing home visits
- Work with a team of healthcare providers, clinicians and aides to deliver excellent patient care
- Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake
- Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
- Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes
- Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment
