About The Position
This is a temporary Hospice CNA opportunity for compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants. The role involves providing comfort, dignity, and support to hospice patients in their homes. This assignment is immediate and runs through the end of November. Requirements
- Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Colorado
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a CNA
- Current CPR/BLS certification (demonstration course required)
- Reliable Transportation to travel visit-to-visit
- Proof of flu vaccination, during Flu season in the months of October-March
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Hospice experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of hospice patients doing home visits
- Work with a team of healthcare providers, clinicians and aides to deliver excellent patient care
- Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake
- Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
- Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes
- Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment
