Certified MRI Technologist - Per Diem - Outpatient Imaging
About The Position
Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI) is a collaboration between Columbia University and NewYork-Presbyterian, offering advanced outpatient Radiology and Imaging services, including MRI and PET/CT. As an MRI Technologist, you will perform a variety of MR examinations using state-of-the-art GE imaging equipment in a collaborative, high-quality outpatient environment. Your expertise will support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and innovative research, while providing patients with the answers and care they need. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
- New York State Radiology license in Radiography and maintain current New York State registration in Radiography
- New York State certification for intravascular contrast media injection
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in Radiography (R) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
- Must maintain all required continuing education and renewal requirements for New York State and ARRT credentials
- Minimum one year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging
- Proficient in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, Modality specific software
- Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.
