We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. In this role, you will perform high-quality MRI examinations while utilizing advanced imaging technology, Radiology Information Systems (RIS), PACS, and digital data management tools. Working under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental leadership, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient patient care. Location: 5141 Broadway (at 220th Street), New York, NY 10034 Union Role: Requires registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License
New York State Certification for Intravascular Contrast Media Injection, or ability to obtain certification within six months of hire
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R)
Current ARRT certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), or eligibility to obtain certification and registration within six months of hire
Ability to maintain all New York State and ARRT continuing education and credential renewal requirements
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Proficiency with EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality specific software

Nice To Haves

Experience working with GE imaging technology
At least one year of Diagnostic Imaging experience
Recent MRI experience
