About The Position

Heritage Village is recruiting a hospitality-focused Med Tech to provide direct nursing care to residents and delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. The role supports residents’ daily activities, independence, health, and engagement. A full-time shift is available from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The stated pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Current CNA/Med Tech certification valid in Virginia.
• Willingness to be available for any or all emergencies regarding the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and family and social activities, and promote residents’ independent lifestyles.
• Identify changes in residents’ medical and behavioral conditions; develop and monitor care plans; and reassess each resident.
• Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and nursing-supply needs.
• Provide nursing care according to physician orders, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services for residents, and coordinate nursing care with services provided by other disciplines.
• Delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
