As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) at Lorien Mount Airy, you will play a vital role in supporting the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents. Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and licensed nursing staff, you will safely administer medications while providing compassionate, resident-centered care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life. The ideal candidate is caring, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service while helping residents achieve their highest level of wellness.

Requirements

Part-Time Schedule: 3p-11p
Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Administer prescribed medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders, policies, and procedures.
Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and changes in condition, reporting concerns to nursing staff.
Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, personal care, and other supportive needs as appropriate.
Promote resident safety, comfort, and independence while maintaining dignity and respect.
Follow infection prevention, medication management, and regulatory compliance standards.
Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members to support high-quality resident care.
Provide compassionate support and meaningful interactions that enhance residents' daily experiences.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all resident interactions.
