About The Position
Centurion is seeking a per diem (PRN) Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join their team at Crossroads Correctional Center in Cameron, Missouri. The CMT will administer medications as prescribed, document administration, and report any adverse actions or side effects, all under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing or their designee.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must maintain active status on the Missouri State Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Registry (mo.tmutest.com).
- Insulin Certification required.
- Completion of an approved Certified Nurse Assistant program and maintenance of active status as a Certified Nurse Assistant (mo.tmutest.com).
- Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of experience in acute care, emergency, or correctional setting preferred.
