About The Position
Atrium Centers is seeking a Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) for their Skilled Nursing facility in Frederic, Wisconsin. This is a part-time position on the 1st shift. The role involves providing resident care, assisting with daily activities, administering medications, following infection control procedures, and maintaining documentation.
Requirements
- Completed CNA course and current state license
- Completed Medication Aide course and successfully passed certification test
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- A service-focused mindset with a desire to learn
- Positive, can-do attitude and excellent attendance
Responsibilities
- Provide resident care according to approved care plans
- Assist with daily activities, resident safety, and personal care
- Administer medications accurately and safely
- Follow all infection control procedures
- Maintain proper documentation, including vitals
- Report any violations of the Residents’ Bill of Rights immediately
