About The Position
The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) is responsible for administering prescribed medications to residents and maintaining related medical records under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. This is a non-exempt, hourly position that provides basic care and assistance with the administration of medications to residents of a skilled nursing or assisted living facility. A state-issued certification is required.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a CMA in the state of Texas is required
- Valid certification as a CNA in the state of Texas is required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- State-issued certification is required
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of previous health care experience preferred
