We are currently seeking a qualified Certified Med Aide to join our team at Peak Resources Shelby.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current, unencumbered, certification as a Nursing Assistant in NC
- Current, unencumbered, certification as a Medication Aide in NC
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year Medication Aide experience or more
Responsibilities
- Assists in the administering of medications to skilled nursing/nursing home residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services.
- The administration of medications shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the policies, procedures, and practices of this facility, and the requirements of this State.
