About The Position
Noble Health Care Center in Noble, Oklahoma, is hiring a full-time Certified Medication Aide. The role administers oral and topical medications to residents as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse and in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations and facility policies. The aide is part of a multidisciplinary team supporting clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and other services for residents.
Requirements
- State certification as a nurse aide.
- State-approved medication administration certification.
- Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nurse aide.
- Highly developed observation skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse and in accordance with regulations and facility policy.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.
- Record medication and treatment administration appropriately.
- Observe for medication reactions or side effects and report them to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
- Administer PRN medications in accordance with regulations and facility policy.
