About The Position
Juniper Communities is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join their team. This role is crucial in providing physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent. The position offers DailyPay, allowing employees to access their earned wages on demand. This is a part-time position with shifts from 11 pm to 7 am, including every other Monday, every other Friday, and every other weekend. The ideal candidate must be a Certified Medication Aide with experience in passing medications.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an approved medication administration course.
- Successful completion of a nurse aide training course if state regulated.
- Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
- Successful completion of a CPR and First Aid course.
- Experience passing medications.
Responsibilities
- Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
- Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
- Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
- Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.
- Provide excellent customer service.
