About The Position

Sterling Estates of West Cobb is seeking Certified Medication Aides to join its Assisted Living and Memory Care team. Certified Nurse Aides may also be considered. PRN night positions are available. The role provides personal care and support to residents, assists with mealtimes, completes and documents assigned shift duties, communicates with residents, families, and department heads, supports planned activities, and responds promptly to call lights and emergencies. Team members are expected to demonstrate compassion, patience, professionalism, and the company’s hospitality promises.

Requirements

Hold a current Georgia Certified Medication Aide (CMA) license.
Be caring, compassionate, patient, and consistently pleasant in attitude.

Responsibilities

Provide residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinence care, and foot care.
Take vital signs and complete height and weight checks according to policy.
Assist residents during mealtimes, including cutting food and encouraging them to eat.
Complete and document assigned shift duties; report any uncompleted duties to the nursing supervisor.
Communicate with residents, families, and department heads as needed.
Provide activities as planned or directed.
Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.
Follow the hospitality promises, including treating people with respect, listening and responding promptly, maintaining professionalism, and attending to details.
