The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) will be responsible for providing medication administration to residents under the direction of an RN. This includes assisting with personal hygiene, serving meals, feeding patients, ambulating, turning, and positioning patients, and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals. The CMA will also provide adjunct care such as administering enemas, douches, non-sterile dressings, and applying restraints. They will maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, testing urine, and recording intake and output.
