About The Position

Inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ, the mission of Cardinal Ritter Senior Services is to be a recognized provider in giving person centered care through an integrated continuum of quality residential, healthcare, and supportive social services for senior adults throughout the Archdiocese of Saint Louis. This position functions as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) for CRSS Skilled Nursing Communities.

Requirements

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant and in good standing in the state of Missouri.
Must have successfully completed the Certified Medication Technician training program for the state of Missouri and be in good standing.
Must have successfully completed or be willing to complete the Insulin Administration Program within three months of hire.
Must have current CPR certification or be willing to become CPR certified.
Maintains all certification required for employment qualifications
Able to perform duties with minimal direction from the Director of Nursing.
Electronic Health Record literate.
Must have good interpersonal communication skills.
Must be genuinely interested in working with Senior Adults.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality, loyalty, integrity, dignity and be tactful and patient.
Must possess personal qualities that demonstrate the ability to care for others, i.e. sensitivity, patience, honesty, cheerfulness, willingness, reliability, positive attitude and observation skills.
Must have initiative and use good judgment in recognizing symptoms indicative of a resident’s change in condition.
Must be neat and clean in personal appearance and grooming.
Must be in good physical and emotional health.
Must be able to perform the physical/ mental functions/requirements of the position.
