About The Position

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
• CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as a Medical Assistant (PREFERRED)
• Will consider a New CMA that has completed an Externship
• Bilingual (Spanish or Vietnamese) (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
• ACLS or BCLS upon hire (PREFERRED)

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
• Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
• Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
• Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
• May work in the front office as needed
• May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
