About The Position
Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. This position will work 100% remote addressing patients' messages (MyChart & Voice) in a triage role. The department is a Geriatric Practice with high demand for new patients, offering a great learning environment and career growth opportunities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
- CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)
Nice To Haves
- Willing to consider a New CMA with completion of an Externship (PREFERRED)
- ACLS or BCLS upon hire (PREFERRED)
Responsibilities
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
- Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
- Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
- Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
- May work in the front office as needed
- May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
