About The Position

SMG Comprehensive Care is seeking to hire an individual to join our team as a Certified Medical Assistant. A sign-on bonus is available up to $5,000 for qualified candidates. This is a full-time position located in Norfolk, VA, working first shift (days). The role involves performing patient care and administrative/clerical tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of a Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
Clinical or Administrative Experience of 1 year

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)
Phlebotomy experience (Preferred)
