About The Position

LifeMD is actively seeking an experienced, adaptable full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinical team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate must live outside of 50 miles from the Greenville, SC office and preferably reside in the Pacific or Mountain Standard Time zones. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be a foundational partner in our Primary Care division, assisting board-certified physicians nationwide. Your role is crucial in supporting our expanding patient base and ensuring a seamless patient experience.

Requirements

• Current CMA/RMA certification
• 2+ years of experience as a CMA/RMA
• Ability to work rotating schedule, including nights and weekends
• Professional experience working with EMRs, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Scheduling patient appointments and maintaining communication to confirm future appointments
• Documenting patient medical information and intake forms
• Ensuring all related reports, labs and information is completed and available in the patient's chart prior to their appointment
• Performing data entry tasks to document patient records within database and maintaining patient charts
• Answering and responding to patient questions and concerns in a timely manner
• Recording vital signs
• Corresponding with customer service representatives regarding patient questions
• Performing other related duties as assigned or requested
