Certified Medical Assistant - Family Practice or Student Health Center
About The Position
Grace Health is seeking Certified Medical Assistants for two location-specific positions: one in a Student Health Center floating between Springfield Middle School and Northwestern Performing Arts Academy, and another in Family Practice offering flexible scheduling options. The Student Health Center position operates Monday-Friday from 7:15 am to 3:45 pm. The Family Practice position offers flexibility with 8-hour shifts (7:40 am to 4:40 pm, 5 days a week) or 10-hour shifts (7:30 am to 6:30 pm, 4 days a week), and a float MA position for a Walk-in clinic (9:00 am to 6:00 pm).
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program and state certification (CMA, CCMA or RMA).
- Current BCLS certification

Responsibilities
- Obtains accurate patient data
- Documents in the medical record
- Prepares exam rooms and procedure rooms
- Assists provider during exams and procedures
- Administers medications, per written order
- Provides educational materials to patient/family
- Provides explanation of lab results, diagnostic testing results and provider orders to patient/family
- Assists with cleaning and stocking of exam rooms and suites
- Performs CLIA waived testing
- General office duties, as assigned
