About The Position
Park Manor Medical Associates is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join their team. This role involves both clinical and administrative duties to support patient care and office operations. The position offers a hiring bonus of up to $1,000 for full-time Medical Assistants.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification (i.e., AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, NCCT NCMA, or NAHP NRCMA)
- CPR Certification
- Computer experience
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant diploma or degree program
- Minimum of one year medical assisting experience
- Proficient in venipuncture
Responsibilities
- Rooms patients
- Collects vital signs
- Reviews patient medication list and patient medical/social history
- Collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests
- Administers injections and medications as directed by provider
- Performs other clinical tasks
- Orders supplies
- Updates/maintains medical records
- Obtains referrals/authorizations
- Schedules appointments
