As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will be a vital pillar of our care team, significantly impacting patient well-being through direct support and seamless coordination. Every day, you will actively collaborate on comprehensive screenings, assist with clinical procedures, provide essential health education, and expertly manage administrative tasks, leveraging technology to coordinate care for diverse patient populations. You will ensure patients feel at ease, patiently explaining instructions and addressing their concerns. Requirements

  • Graduate of medical assisting program accredited by Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP).
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, upon hire
  • Certified Medical Assistant AAMA, upon hire
  • Certified Medical Assistant NHA, upon hire
  • National Certified Medical Assistant NCCT, upon hire
  • National Registered/Certified Medical Assistant NAHP, upon hire
  • Registered Medical Assistant AMT, upon hire
  • Registered Medical Assistant, upon hire
  • Cert Med Asst - MMCI, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Medication Aide: NE, within 90 Days

Nice To Haves

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Medical assistant experience, upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
  • Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit.
  • Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
  • Cleans and sterilizes instruments.
  • Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly.
