Certified Medical Assistant - PPG Endo Buckhead
About The Position
Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its PPG Endo Buckhead practice. The role provides a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse, following established guidelines and standards. The position offers a consistent 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule with no weekends, a team-oriented environment, supportive hands-on leadership, clear workflows, and opportunities to gain experience in endocrinology, including diabetes, thyroid, and hormone care. Complimentary lunch is provided multiple days per week.
Requirements
- BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- CMA-AAMA certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants or a similarly recognized certifying organization, or NCMA-NCTT certification, is required.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program is required; alternatively, one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience may substitute for formal education.
- No experience is required when the education requirement is met.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
