About The Position

This role is for a Certified Medical Assistant specializing in Internal Medicine at the Joshua Max Simon Primary Care Center in Indianapolis, IN. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:15 am to 4:45 pm. The position involves assisting providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures, maintaining sterile and organized treatment rooms, streamlining clinic workflow by interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and accurately recording medical histories. The role also includes transcribing provider orders for labs, imaging, and prescriptions, managing medical records, providing clerical support, and handling inventory management.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant specializing in Registered obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Certified Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
