About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant of Healthcare Services Reports to the Director of Healthcare Services. They will work under the direction and cooperation with the Physician and Nurse Practitioner, with supervision from the Nurse Manager. They are responsible for the care and safety of clients/patients while in Healthcare Services. They must have good communication skills and be caring towards patients and should be willing to work under pressure. They must use discretion while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• A standard high school diploma or GED is required.
• Social Security Card is required
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to read and write the English language
• On-going background checks and random drug and alcohol screenings
• Medication Administration Certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the care and safety of clients/patients while in Healthcare Services.
• Use discretion while maintaining patient confidentiality.
