Requirements

Experience working in a procedural setting.
Comfortable with a dynamic setting and varied tasks.
Comfortable taking ownership of tasks.
Able to understand what's going on with the team and pitch in wherever needed.
Valid and Current Medical Assistant Certification.

Responsibilities

Assist with outpatient interventional radiology procedures in an office setting.
Perform minimally invasive procedures on awake patients with fluoro imaging.
Conduct standard pre-op checks/questions.
Monitor patients in post-op for approximately 30 minutes.
Rotate between pre-op/post-op duties and procedure room duties.
Share workload with a small team to achieve shared goals of excellent patient care and efficient procedures.
Contribute to constant improvement in all aspects of the job.
Chart patient information.
Check patient vitals.
Communicate with patients.
Open sterile supplies in the procedure room.
Adapt to changing tasks and needs of the situation.
Take ownership of tasks.
Understand team dynamics and contribute where needed.
