About The Position
Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its Float department, based in Marlette, Michigan. This full-time, day-shift position provides full benefits. The role supports healthcare professionals in delivering quality service to patients and employees. The position performs patient-care tasks, including rooming patients, taking vital signs, and assisting providers. Additional duties include using the EMR system, registering patients, verifying insurance, scanning medical records, calling patients with results, and completing medical documentation. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, provide care to patients of all ages, and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a physician’s office.
- A positive attitude and the ability to engage patients warmly.
- Team-player and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interact positively and proactively at all levels of the organization and with physicians.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing quality patient care.
Nice To Haves
- CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
