The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) performs delegated patient care tasks for an assigned patient population. They will perform clinical tasks as well as administrative duties assigned by the Clinic Manager to facilitate the care of patients. The Certified Medical Assistant performs all responsibilities in accordance with all policy and procedure guidelines.
The CMA provides care for all assigned patient populations. They will function under the direct supervision of the Medical Oncologist, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant for patient care activities. Their assignments, evaluations, and reporting structure are through the Clinic Manager/Supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
• CPR certified

Nice To Haves

• Minimum two years of medical/surgical or oncology experience preferred
• Previous office experience desirable
