About The Position

Our Medical Assistants play a crucial role in delivering our mission by working directly in clinics to support patients and clinical staff. As a Medical Assistant at Medsien, you will be stationed in various clinics across the Trenton, MI area, where you will support the implementation and management of Chronic Care Management (CCM), Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), and other care programs. This is not a remote position; you will work directly with physicians and care teams in person to assist with patient engagement and care coordination.

Requirements

  • Must be located near Trenton, MI area Resident
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
  • 1+ years of experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a care management or chronic disease management role.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and patients.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical processes.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to different clinic locations in the Trenton, MI area as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly in clinics to assist with Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs.
  • Engage with patients in person to review their care plans, answer questions, and ensure they are on track with their health goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, clinical staff, and Medsien’s care management team to ensure effective care coordination.
  • Assist clinic staff with program enrollments, patient follow-ups, and ongoing care monitoring.
  • Support physicians and clinical staff in providing seamless patient care by preparing relevant health data for patient visits.
  • Work closely with Medsien's care management team to streamline care delivery and identify potential areas for process improvement.
