Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience administering vaccines and confidently working with older adults is highly preferred.
• 6 months or 1 year of Phlebotomy Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on clinical support to providers and nurses by rooming participants, taking vital signs, completing patient histories, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with examinations and treatments.
• Perform key clinical skills including phlebotomy, blood draws, specimen collection, and immunizations.
• Support the PACE care team by documenting participant information, assisting with laboratory and diagnostic orders, maintaining accurate medical records, and helping providers with follow-up care and treatment needs.
• Keep the clinic running smoothly by maintaining supplies, preparing treatment areas, answering phones, scheduling/supporting participant needs, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
