About The Position

Casper Dermatology is Hiring - Full Time Certified Medical Assistant. This is a travel position with a consistent weekly schedule, working 3 to 4 days per week in Casper and 1 to 2 days per week in Douglas. Join our expansion team as a Medical Assistant! Casper Dermatology Clinic is growing and opening two new offices in East Casper and Douglas. We are looking for energetic, patient-focused Medical Assistants who are eager to make an impact from day one. This unique opportunity allows you to help launch our newest locations while delivering outstanding care and creating a positive patient experience. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Post High School education in a medical support field: Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse is strongly preferred
• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
• Must possess organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documents all vital information
• Scribing information for the dermatologist
• Providing post op wound care to patients
• Drawing blood and suture removal
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as: Surgical photographs, Biopsies – punch, DIF and shave, Excisions, Electrodessication and curettage, I&D, Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery, Phototherapy, Injections, Koh preps, Trichograms, Tzank preps, Dermabrasion, Patch testing, Blue light
