About The Position
Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. This role is within a well-established Family Care Clinic that is fast-paced and multi-provider. The clinic emphasizes a strong work ethic.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification
- Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skills = within 90 days of job entry
- BCLS upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Responsibilities
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
- Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
- Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
- May work in the front office as needed
- May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
